Visiting clothing optional beaches like Blacks beach as well as other recreational activities are reviewed. Some of the resorts mentioned are now no longer naturist or cater to families. Common sense etiquette and behavior while skinny dipping at public beach or private venues is outlined.
Production
The production quality of the documentary is good. There are elements of the production that might not be made today. Children are shown in a non sexual nude recreational activities.
Acting
While there are no actors in the documentary per se, but the documentary captures people in normal naturist settings. Nothing about the scenes shown feel fake or unrealistic. the lack of diverse participants are reflective of the times. The “star” of the film Is Lee Baxandall the founder of the naturist society who gives a brief definition of naturism and the philosophy behind the founding of the Naturist Society.
Conclusion
Though is is becoming a bit dated, cap D’age is more less naturist oriented as it once was, some venues mentioned no longer exist. The old name for the American Association for Nude Recreation, ASA is used. Still, this documentary film still has relevant and engaging information about naturism and nude recreational activities. With the caveat about presence of children which may make some non naturist people squeamish, this is a great introduction to not just skinny dipping but naturism. It is perfect viewing for a mixed group discussion about naturism and nude recreation.
