A somewhat prudish young lady inherits a nudist camp. She wants to shut it down, but is persuaded by its members to give the place a look before she takes any action. She agrees, and while touring the camp finds herself attracted to one of the patrons. The trouble is, so does another young woman at the camp. Complications ensue welcome to The Nudist Story.
What does one do as executor of an estate when you are required to liquidate property that includes a nudist camp to payoff estate expenses? That is the premise of The Nudist Story.
There is a a hilarious “concert” scene typical of the movies of that era where members of the camp break into some without the evidence of amplification of backing band anywhere.
The concert scene is followed by a soliloquy by the female lead sharing the positives of nudism with her aunt who want to here nothing of it. There are some choice lines that nudists today might do well to pay attention to.
“Nudists aren’t exhibitionists Aunt Meg. They only strip in camps or the privacy of there own home. They don’t want to offend anyone who doesn’t think their way. ”

Add some melodrama from a love triangle and you have a movie worth sitting through despite some flaws. Overall The nudist story passses as a movie. The story is ok, the acting average and the production quality adequate. Where the movie excels is in communicating the pure expression and motives of nudism in its most basic form. In a day and age of high tech everything there is somemthing to be gained from embracing this approach again.
