Summary:Nulepsy: the pathological need to be nude. An elderly man recounts his life story characterised by the rare, exceptional and inconvenient disease he suffers from.

This almost nine minute 2010 experimental film short by Jessica Sarah Rinland covers an unusual fictitious subject who some in the naturist community may consider to be real existence. Based on some online statements about hating clothing and accounts of insatiable need to be nude, the unreal nature of the affliction depicted in this film may surprise some.

The director Rinland does an exceptional job of creating a believable story. The narration is equally exceptional in the voice of a the older man afflicted with the condition narrated by Richard Burleigh. The soundtrack was quite engaging but not overpowering. The actors particularly Oscar Oldershaw who plays the younger version of the do a very convincing job. There is a fair amount of now sexual nudity in the film. It is presented in such a manner that you it becomes secondary to the main focus of this parody.

The film was digitized from 16mm film.  The naturist interest comes from the parody’s potential for self examination and reflection among those fixated on nudism as nakedness. I recommend for naturist movie buffs watch party. Nulepsy could  easy develop for a longer exploration of character. I highly recommend you watch Nulepsy Share your review below.
